Originally from Tehran, Iran, Dr. Azimi came to the U.S. with his family in 2010 in pursuit of better opportunities. Now, he is doing what he loves: helping people with their dental needs and improving their smiles! He looks forward to learning more about your smile goals during your next visit, but you can learn more about him in the meantime by reading on.
As a child, Dr. Azimi needed his fair share of dental work. Unfortunately, some bad experiences resulted in a fear of the dentist. This inspires him each and every day to create more comfortable experiences for his patients – the kind of experience he wishes he had growing up. Plus, dentistry combines other interests of his as well, like building things, solving problems, and engineering.
Dr. Azimi first studied biomedical engineering at Arizona State University. From there, he attended Nova Southeastern University. During his time there, he attended multiple mission trips to Jamaica, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic, where he treated underprivileged populations. Today, he is a Live Implant Training Fellow, an Alumni of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
During dental school, Dr. Azimi found a passion for golf, a sport he continues to play to this day. He also enjoys working out and listening to podcasts!
