Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Nguyen always knew he wanted to do something in the field of healthcare. After earning his undergraduate degree in biology and his master’s in business administration, he was selected for a job at Microsoft. Eventually, he made his way back to the sciences. Once he realized that dentistry combined everything he loved into one profession, he knew he wanted to spend his days helping others achieve healthy, happy smiles.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Nguyen earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Texas Wesleyan University. Then, he completed his master’s degree in business administration and dental school at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. To continue to stay abreast of the latest techniques and technology, he pursues continuing education and maintains active memberships with the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Congratulations are in order because Dr. Nguyen is engaged! He and his fiancé are big foodies and love spending time together cooking and trying new cuisines. Some of his other hobbies include camping, fishing, hiking, and playing basketball. Here’s an interesting fact about him: he completed a 5-day, 42-mile backpacking trip!
